2024-2025 These classes are only open to current students of Woodside Montessori. Appropriate for kids with zero experience as well as kids that already play chess. To partake in the New Start Classes, kids need: to be capable to sit for a 30-min lesson; recognize their alphabet A-H and numbers 1-8.

The Funky Owls Chess Club at Woodside Montessori

*** NEW CLUB FORMAT ***
Chess club is open to all current Woodside students. Club members receive a 30-mins. instructional session, 30-mins. practices of lesson materials, as well as free play chess games. Younger students can be picked up earlier during their practice session.
The structure of the program is as follows:
3:30-4:00 Free Play & New-Start Lessons (0-minimal experience with chess)

Drop in for the day! Keep in mind that once classes have begun, I cannot go back. Please LMK if you are a New-Start so I may accommodate.
